We have identified and resolved the issue where incident counters were duplicating for some users, causing incorrect incident counts to appear on the dashboard. Alerts were not affected.
Root cause:
A temporary change to the increment counter for the incident query caused the duplication. This has since been reverted.
Impact:
Incorrect incident counter were displayed on the dashboard for a subset of users. No incidents were lost or incorrectly triggered.
The fix has been applied and incident counters are now accurate. This issue will not recur. We are continuing to monitor the system.
