We are investigating an issue where the on-call calendar may display the incorrect person for some teams OR it may have the wrong person on-call.
Our initial analysis shows this occurs specifically in weekly schedules that do not have a handoff day configured, combined with custom slot configurations (e.g., weekday-only slots or uneven coverage across the week). In these cases, an internal inconsistency in how handoff boundaries are computed caused the scheduler to select the wrong user for the next rotation.
We are actively working on a fix and continuing to review all affected schedules. On-call alerting logic remains correct but this issue also puts the wrong person on-call in some cases.
